Last night a friend from Baton Rouge invited us to stop by on our drive to Florida. He offered to take us to dinner at the world famous Drago's. We were dressed for a road trip, not fine dining so I suggested we meet somewhere else. "Nonsense, just park in the back and bang on the door." So after 8 hours in a car me and my boys find ourselves behind a restaurant in Louisiana. I bang on the door as I was instructed, the owner Tommy Cvitananovich opens the door to greet us and walks us to this opulent private room lined with photos of all of the governors of Louisiana. My friend David Lukinovich and his beautiful family treated us to what may have been the best meal of my life--- grilled oysters, crap, alligator tacos. My sons were impressed. The gift of the apostolic life is beautiful friends in every corner of the world. I told my boys there are not many cities in the world I don't have friends and friends are the most precious treasure.
